Board of Directors

The Oak Forest HOA (Homeowners' Association) Board of Directors are volunteers from our community. The Board of Directors is comprised of members elected by you, the association members.

The board looks for ways to be fiscally responsible as well as address the safety, landscaping, and regulatory concerns of the community.

Unit 7 Board of Directors

The Oak Forest HOA board of directors meets monthly. In addition, general membership meetings are held four times a year. The dates and location of these meetings are publicized in advance in the monthly Oak Forest newsletter. All residents of Oak Forest are encouraged to attend the quarterly general membership meetings.


Drew Knisel
President

Presides at all meetings of the Association and the Board. He/She can appoint chairperson of standing committees, may vote at the Board meetings only in the event of a tie vote, may vote as a Board member during the election of Board Officers, may vote at all General Membership meetings.


Maurice Shor
Vice-President

The Vice-President may assume the office of President when necessary, assist the President in the duties of that office and hold the position of Sergeant-at-Arms at all Board and Membership meetings, whether regular or special meetings.


Sue Ellen Duncan
Treasurer

Treasurer keeps all funds of the Association, keeps accounts of all dues, receipts and expenditures, reports the state of the Treasury at each meeting, keeps a register of the members, addresses and telephone numbers, provides the Secretary with a proper list of members on request.


Heather Knisel
Secretary

Be the custodian of non-financial records of the Association; Record minutes of all meetings; Be able to produce a copy of the Articles of Incorporation, bylaws and standing rules at all times; notify the Board members of all meetings prior to said meetings; handle all correspondence of the Association; reserve the meeting room for all general membership meetings at least one month in advance; contact all members in the possession and control of Association meeting date signs to ensure notice is able to be posted at each entrance of the subdivision on the proper day previous to the meetings; pick up all mail at the post office unless other arrangements are made with another Board member to do so; keep all records (archives) for the previous seven (7) years; and assist the President with correspondence.

Unit 8 Board of Directors

The HOA for homes in Unit 8 of Oak Forest is a mandatory HOA. It is managed by the officers listed here, and also by Sentry Management. Please visit the Contact Us page for more information on contacting Sentry Management for issues regarding Unit 8 homeowners.


Tim Strever
President

The President shall be the chief executive officer of the Association. The President shall preside at all meetings of the Members of the Association and of the Board of Directors. He/She shall have the general powers and duties of supervision and management of the Association which usually pertain to his office, and shall perform all such duties as are properly required of him/her by the Board of Directors.


Ted Zeiher
Vice-President

The Board of Directors shall elect at least one (1) Vice-President, who shall have such powers and perform such duties as usually pertain to such office or as are properly required by him by the Board of Directors. In the absence or disability of the President, any Vice-President shall perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President.


Ron Burk
Secretary

The Secretary shall issue notices of all meetings of the Membership of the Association and the Directors where notices of such meetings are required by law or in these By-Laws. He/She shall keep the minutes of the meetings of the membership and of the Board of Directors.


Roy Berglund
Treasurer

The Treasurer shall have the care and custody of all the monies and securities of the Association. He/She shall enter on the books of the Association, to be kept by him for that purpose, full and accurate accounts of all monies received by him/her and paid by him/her on account of the Association. He/She shall sign such instruments as require his/her signature and shall perform all such duties as usually pertain to his/her office or as properly required of him/her by the Board of Directors.
